But sometimes the dragon is invisible

Smaug. Grendel. Bahamut. Leviathan. Basilisk.

Dragons guard treasure and cause terror and havoc in the old stories; and they notice if you steal literally anything from their hoard, no matter how small.

Do the dragons enjoy their treasure? They’re not using it or spending it. They’re in the dark, breathing in their own sulfurous vapors.

On some video games, you have to beat the “boss” of a level to move to the next level. The boss is the final test, the Big Scary Opponent.

If you’re looking for the biggest treasure, you have to expect the biggest dragons. You don’t set a weak guard over powerful treasure.

What is YOUR treasure?

If you don’t know, look for your own personal dragons.

Where are the places in your life that have been massively opposed? That’s where you should focus.

For example, if you have a calling to be a public speaker, you may have had a speech impediment when you were younger. Or your parents or teachers tried to silence you when you used your words and owned your power.
