Doom is palpable these days — you can taste it, smell it, read about it, see it, and FEEL it.
Certain top Medium writers salivate over it. There’s a fine line between prophet and dark wizard.
I get it. Shit is DARK, and from certain angles, seems almost hopeless.
The usual suspects mutter about portents, or shout about them, or post about them.
Churches cross themselves piously, thankful THEY won’t be here for it.
RAPTURE.
END TIMES.
The ANTICHRIST.
ARMAGEDDON.
I keep seeing the number 717. In the Greek, it refers to the Strong’s Concordance word for…ARMAGEDDON.

What the fundamentalists and most orthodox congregations miss is the metaphorical nature of the Revelation of John.
METAPHOR.
That doesn’t mean it’s not real. But it does mean it’s not LITERAL.
