BUT…I know there are guys who push girls away before the girl can push them away.

I keep hoping that staying put will show loyalty and trustworthiness instead of naive stupidity.

And why does it stay so gendered?

Why can’t a girl say “I’ll fight for you"?

I AM a rare find and don’t want to have to pretend to run away to seem scarce or provoke chasing.
