Nope. You can recognize their sad origins without losing more of your own life and energy. Any side benefits and character building that occurs from surviving narcissistic abuse in NO WAY justifies the choices they made.

Many people with the same upbringing did not become narcissists. They had a choice.

And we have the choice to stay in a loving posture towards them from a safe and no-contact distance.

They are not victims. They are energy vampires.
