My Anger Does Not Make Me Wrong

(no matter what the narcissists say)

First example.

The dude sounded intelligent.

He was posting on Quora, in a space about narcissism.

That’s a topic I know far too much about, so I read it.

Apparently, in his world it was Opposite Day. Right was wrong, up was down, left was right, and empaths are actually…drum roll please…covert narcissists.

It was bullshit, so I said that. Then I explained why.

His response?

Empathetic rage, ladies and gentlemen, many such cases.

In case you don’t speak narcissist, he means I’m a prime example of a covert narcissist posing as an empath.

Second example.

The writer was a survivor of narcissistic abuse from her mother.

The title caught my eye: “My Mother Was a Narcissist, But She Was Not a Bad Person”. I read it. The person she described was indeed a narcissist.

And a bad person.

I disagreed with her in a comment.

She responded by saying that she wasn’t sure I had read her words fully, that I was maybe still too angry with my own situation, and that she had not let her mom off the hook anywhere.
