Life or Death?

Although I was not allowed to go to movies as a child, teenager, or adult while I was in the church, only breaking that rule once I was married, I did watch a few movies on the old VHS tapes, which meant waiting up to a year after a movie was in theaters to see it.

I was never current on entertainment, as a result. Now I have a weird obsession with running to IMDb to find out where I’ve seen that one actor/actress before.

What I realized, once I was able to watch freely, was how powerful movies are and how much truth, whether intentional or accidental, can be conveyed. I love movies.

I also loved Harrison Ford, who as we all know, was Han Solo AND Indiana Jones.

Indiana Jones, in the Last Crusade, must select the correct Holy Grail from a table full of chalices in a cave deep in the wilderness, not because he wants it for himself, but because he needs to save the life of his father, Henry, who is dying from a gunshot wound.

The Jones boys have been seeking it to keep the Holy Grail from Hitler, who has sent his own team to find it for heinous purposes, hein?

The Grail was rumored to grant immortality to the one who drinks from it, because Jesus drank from it, and
