From Russia, with Fear: A Spiritual Perspective
I woke up the morning after Russia invaded, and before I even checked my phone, I knew it had started. I could feel it.
People who are spiritual or empathic in certain specific ways have felt all the fear this week. Not in the same way as the Ukrainian people, obviously. America, for example, is well-shielded from the worst of everything.
But the atmosphere has been fucked for a while. It has been staticky, harsh, grey, oppressive. It hasn’t been easy to hear from God, from Spirit, the way it has been other times.
It was also like a red balloon had been swelling and swelling, the tension building and building. Almost intolerable.
Its beginning — the popping, the bursting was, yes, frightening and loud; but it marked an end to the suspense.
and the beginning…of what?
I refuse to give into the fear. Because I think we’re exiting an era and entering a new one — a better one.
I believe we’re birthing a whole new world out of the ashes of the old.
Many world leaders have been showing who they really are, and who the rest of us are. Old patterns are being exposed and dealt with. Scandals are being unearthed and dealt with at long last.
