Apex Empath? You Have Needs, Too.
It’s lonely at the top. You know this.
[Not that you can call “feeling everyone’s shit” being “on top” exactly, but there you are]
You’re a giver, too, so the idea of being at the top is probably foreign to you.
You’re cool with being invisible. You feel seen when you’re seeing someone else, feeling their stuff, and helping them.
But here’s the thing: you need someone to see you, to understand you, to listen to you.
And when you’re the best, there’s not many people who can handle you. Because your stuff is HEAVY. You didn’t get here by being given everything. You got here the hard, long, slow way. You lost people, you were betrayed, you were lost, you were in dark places other people don’t even know exist.
And now you’re the one people come find when they are hurting, sad, broken, overwhelmed, or confused.
It’s like being an awesome massage therapist or hair stylist — you can’t exactly do your own hair or massage your own back.
So how ARE you doing?
It’s been four years of unrelenting assholery, racism, lies, gaslighting, abuse, fear, paranoia, disease, isolation, confusion, and change.
YOU know that the world has a chance to metamorphosize into something AWESOME.
